Tom brings more than 35 years of experience supporting teams in large biopharmaceutical companies and emerging biotechs through healthcare insights and commercialization strategy across global and domestic markets. He specializes in translating stakeholder perspectives, from HCPs and patients to payers and health systems, into clear and actionable guidance for launch planning, market access, and brand strategy.
Across his career, Tom has led senior global teams, mentored colleagues across organizations, and partnered with cross-functional client groups to align insights with business goals in complex and rapidly changing therapeutic landscapes. He has worked on both the consulting and industry sides, spanning product launches, demand forecasting, payer messaging, segmentation, clinical trial optimization, and value-focused strategy development. He is known for a collaborative approach, deep therapeutic category knowledge, and an ability to strengthen decision-making through clear interpretation of research findings.
Tom’s experience extends across metabolic conditions, immunology, oncology, rare disease, and other high-need categories. He has also contributed to life science entrepreneurship as an advisor at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and as a consultant and panelist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He maintains a longstanding interest in ensuring patient and provider access to innovative therapies.
Tom holds an MA in Communications Research from Wheaton College Graduate School and a BSJ in Journalism from West Virginia University.
